I can hardly believe we are about to enter the final week of the school year.
Usually the last few weeks and certainly this week would have been filled with special events, end of term treats and trips and final celebrations. How very differently this year has panned out!
Teachers will continue to upload home learning tasks this week. However, tasks will have more of a transition/end of term feel to them. Over the summer we will be uploading a set of ‘project grids’ for any families who wish to continue with some form of structure over the holidays. There is no expectation that children complete them all or even any – they are there for you to access in whatever way suits your child, family and circumstances best. Thank you to the teachers for their time in planning these grids.
We look forward to welcoming our Year 4’s back into school on Tuesday after school for a socially distanced picnic – we can’t wait to see you, hear your stories and share some special memories with you!
For those children in school, we finish at normal ‘times’ on Friday, our last day (20th). A reminder that next Monday (20th) is a staff training day. Staff will be in school on this day making a start on preparations for the new academic year.
I hope all of our children and families, those at home and those coming into school, have a lovely week ahead.
Best wishes
Mrs Ferretti
