We are aware Bradsports are experiencing difficulties with their suppliers meaning that some orders have been delayed. We understand that some parents will be anxious that their child will not have their full uniform in time for the start of term despite ordering some time ago and paying in advance. Please note that these are not school specific issues. As some of you will know with children in other schools, Birches parents are not alone in experiencing these difficulties.
Please be reassured that no pupil will be reprimanded next week if they do not have full uniform because of this issue.
If you can’t get items of PE kit or other uniform in time, please don’t worry. A simple, school-appropriate alternative (e.g. a plain white T-shirt instead of a PE top) will be perfectly acceptable until your order arrives. Children will not need PE kit for the first few days at school. Teachers will send information home regarding PE days next week.

We are just really looking forward to seeing the pupils back at school and while we understand the frustration and disappointment, this doesn’t need to become an unnecessary source of worry for the children or parents!
