At Birches First School we have always been proud of our Home/School links and our Open Door Policy. We understand that keeping communication channels open with parents and staff is essential. Usually, in a new academic term we would be planning and hosting a ‘Meet the Teacher’ evening where discussions are held with class teachers regarding transition and how your child/ren are settling in, answering any questions (big or small) you may have.
To bridge this gap and to enable parents to have the opportunity to communicate with class teachers, your child’s class teacher will be contacting you directly via telephone or email in the coming weeks using the address you have provided regarding your child and how they have settled into the new year.
Teachers will be making contact between Monday 7th September and Friday 25th September.
