To help capture some of the wonderful things the children are doing at home we would like to create a Birches First School magazine and are inviting the children to become our journalists!
Some suggestions…
Write a poem / short story.
Create a quiz
Send in photos of your art work / craft creations
Make a puzzle (word search, cross word, spot the difference etc)
Jokes
Book reviews
‘How to…’
Recipes
Photos with captions of home learning activities
Pets corner – information report about your pet.
Fact files / information report about own area of interest / hobby.
A reminder that by sending in any personal images or information you are consenting to them being included and published online. Please include your child’s name and class within the article should you wish them to be published.
We would also like the children to come up with suggestions for a name for our magazine. Something that sums up our school as well as the times we are in.
If you have a name suggestion and/or article to include in the magazine, please email them to shulme@birches.staffs.sch.uk by Monday 11th May. Thank you to Miss Hulme who has agreed to receive and group the articles. These articles will then be sent to other members of the fabulous Birches team to create the pages of the magazine before being brought together to create the final edition. We can’t wait to see what the children come up with!
