A huge well done to our cross country runners who represented Birches at St Nics last week. A particular mention to Ethan M who came second for the Year 3 boys and Heidi who took first place for the Year 4 girls! Another well done to our Football team who played so well against a strong team from St Christopher’s last Tuesday. We are very proud of our Sports teams and the way that they represent our school so proudly. Thank you to Mrs Stubbs and any parents who braved the weather and were able to support these events! Back in school the children all took part in their Safer Internet Day activities in classes, helping to develop an understanding of the need to (and ways of) staying safe online. All children helped to create paper chains with internet safety tips on which will be linked together and displayed along the school corridor. Thank you to Mrs Cain for the organisation of this.
