Welcome to Birches First School

Please contact the Mrs Lawley or Mrs Kilvert in the school office for further information and assistance.

Welcome

Welcome to Birches First School. We are very pleased to have this opportunity to tell you about the work and aspirations of our school.

On 1st January 2018, we converted to academy status, joining Codsall Multi Academy Trust (CMAT, established October 2016) along with Codsall Middle School and St Nicholas First School. CMAT is governed by it’s Trustees and Members and operates within the confines of the Memorandum and Articles of Association

We are fortunate to have a very experienced and dedicated staff who work hard to maintain a stimulating and industrious atmosphere in which each child’s individual needs are recognised. The aims and ethos of the school reflect the value we place on each child’s achievements, whilst at the same time teaching children to work together in a caring and co-operative way.

We believe children’s success at school not only depends on the quality of teaching we provide, but also on effective relationships between home and school. Parental involvement is actively encouraged in many aspects of school life. The Governors of Birches represent the parents, the staff and the local community, and are firmly committed to ensuring that the best possible education is available to all children at our school.

If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact us via the school office using the contact information below. Also, if you require a paper copy or a copy in any other format/language/braille of any of the information on this website we are more than happy to provide this free of charge.
