Wow! What a fantastic World Book Day 2019 we have had. The theme for our Book Week was ‘Classic Children’s Illustrators’ and all the staff were really impressed with how many children knew who had illustrated the character they dressed up as.
Years 3 and 4 also took part in the BBC’s World Book Day Live Lesson which was also very exciting!
Thank you to all children and staff who really got into the spirit of World Book Day by dressing up as a classic illustrated character. A winner from each class was chosen and they have won a book of their choosing from the Book Fair. Remember, all children have their £1 Book Token to spend at the Book Fair which runs until Tuesday 12th March.
